AHMCP announces retirement reception for Bill Andrews

BLOOMINGTON—The law firm of Andrews, Harrell, Mann, Carmin & Parker announces the retirement of longtime attorney Bill Andrews. The firm will be hosting a reception on Wednesday, April 21st, at the Fountain Square Ballroom from 5:30-7:00 p.m. to celebrate Bill’s fifty years of service to the law.

“We thank Bill for his many years with AHMCP and wish him well in his new life,” said Mike Carmin. “He will be greatly missed.”

“It’s been a wonderful experience to work in a firm recognized for its professionalism, integrity and unwavering commitment to community service,” said Andrews. “I look forward to a more relaxed schedule, but will miss the contacts with my many clients and colleagues.”

Andrews, the senior partner at AHMCP, has a long and proud history of service to community organizations such as the Monroe County Public Library, the American Red Cross, the Bloomington Human Rights Commission, South Central Community Action Program and the Monroe County United Ministries, among others. He is a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation and was designated an Indiana Super Lawyer in 2006. He served a four-year term as Bloomington City Judge in the 1970s during which he established a Small Claims Court which grew into the current statewide Small Claims court system.
